WE ARE SWIMMING ON WARM DAYS AND THE DOGS LOVE IT!!

We have installed Sirius Satellite radio and the dogs are serenaded by Spa 73, 24 hrs/day.  This is sooooooothing, calming music that puts everyone in the relaxation mode. Also, new lighting system for the front of the kennel to help with those after dark pick ups!

SWIMMING SESSIONS!  Clients may sign up their dogs to go for swims as part of their exercise in warm weather.  We take several groups out swimming every day that the weather allows (most days!).  We have lots of retrieving items - bumpers, water toys, tennis balls, etc. The pond has a nice sandy bottom and a sloping entrance.  Swimming sessions are $5.00/dog and last about 20-45minutes.

We are being protected from blood sucking bugs - we are using bug zappers in addition to the Mosquito Magnet to eliminate mosquitoes, gnats, horseflies and deerflies.

  Fendi ("Pretty Foolish") is a reg SSH/TWH young mare and was purchased November 2009 from Bayfield Farm in Oxford, NC.  We are just thrilled to have her to train for trail rides and field.  She is only 4 1/2 yrs old but has a wonderful, laid back, friendly personality.

   "Hondo's Glorious Joe" -Joey arrived on Feb 23, 2003.  He is a  black/white TWH/SSH gelding and has the most wonderful personality - he really loves people. Joey was a show stallion for his first life! He is our main trail and field horse.

  Martell is a reg Peruvian Paso gelding.  He was purchased in 1995 and has been a wonderful trail horse and field horse.  We had to retire him from field due to a shoulder problem which flares up after 4-5 hrs.  He is still great for shorter trail rides.

Joey and Martell continue to butt heads occasionally but they are both flabbergasted at Fendi!

Tes d'Oro Del Rey, "Toro", a reg Peruvian Paso gelding was purchased in 1996 at age 5.  He and Martell were our trail and field horses until 2003 when he began having health problems.  In 2008 he was diagnosed with Cushings and declined rapidly.  He was euthanized in September 2009 at age 18.  Our hearts were broken and we miss our beautiful little guy.
